Yami Gautam leaves for Kolkata to shoot for ‘Lost’

Bollywood actress Yami Gautam has left for Kolkata on Friday to start shooting for her next project ‘Lost’. Taking to his Instagram handle, the actor shared a glimpse of himself from his hotel room in the capital of West Bengal. The newly wed actor looked gorgeous in a maroon suit. To complete her look, she opted for light makeup with bold red lipstick and a sleek ponytail. To accessorize the outfit, she wore gold colored hoop earrings with matching bindi.

Along with the video, Yami wrote, “Here I am Kolkata! Let’s start #LOST” with a red heart emoticon.

For those unaware, the ‘Sanam Re’ actor is all set to share screen space with veteran star Pankaj Kapur in ‘Lost’. Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, ‘Lost’ is touted as “a hard-hitting investigative drama centered around media integrity”.

Yami will play the role of a crime reporter in the upcoming project. ‘Lost’ will also star Rahul Khanna, Neil Bhoopalam, Piya Bajpai and Tushar Pandey. The film will be extensively shot in real locations of Kolkata and Purulia city and will highlight the underbelly of an urban city which often goes unnoticed.

Renowned lyricist Swanand Kirkire along with noted music composer Shantanu Moitra will capture the essence of the city and the spirit of the story.

Produced by Zee Studios, Sharin Mantri Kedia, Kishore Arora, Sam Fernandes and Indrani Mukerjea, the film is expected to go on floors in July 2021.
