Yami Gautam celebrated first Karva Chauth with husband Aditya Dhar; See stunning pictures

Bollywood Actress Yami Gautam and her husband Aditya Dhar celebrated their first Karva Chauth on Sunday. Now he has shared the picture of moon sighting on Instagram. While Yami looked absolutely stunning in a traditional red sari, Aditya Dhar complemented her by wearing a golden colored kurta-pyjama.

The picture shared by Yami shows the happy couple during the moon sighting ceremony. He wrote in the caption, ‘We see the same moon, you and I… our first Karva Chauth.

Married women observe a fast from sunrise to sunset on Karva Chauth. She prays for her husband’s long life. As part of the ritual, women exchange their karva (earthen pots) with other married women after listening to the vrat katha. She breaks her fast only after seeing the moon with her husband.

The ‘Vicky Donor’ actress was excited to celebrate her first Karva Chauth. And, she shared a picture on Instagram flashing her million-dollar smile. He wrote, “The joy of celebrating my first Karva Chauth is unmatched.”

Yami married ‘Uri’ director Aditya Dhar in an intimate ceremony in June this year. A few days back Yami and Aditya visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab. She shared mesmerizing pictures from her spiritual walk on her Instagram account.

On the professional front, Yami has several films in the pipeline. His line-up includes ‘A Thursday’, ‘Daasvi’ and ‘Lost’. The actress will be seen playing a crime reporter in Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s “Lost”.

On the other hand, director Aditya’s next project is a superhero film titled ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’ starring Vicky Kaushal.
