‘Yaadein’: Rajkummar Rao honors his parents, Patralekha’s father in this monochrome snap

Actor Rajkummar Rao shared a picture of himself looking at the pictures of his late mother and father and Patralekha’s late father, today, December 14. Looking at their pictures with folded hands. Rajkumar wrote in the caption, using the lyrics of the popular song Memories from Maroon 5, “Yeh rahe woh hai jo humse milte hai. Wish you were here, but you weren’t.”

The actor lost his father Satyapal Yadav, who was a government employee, in 2019. After being admitted to Medanta Hospital for 17 days, Satyapal breathed his last in Gurugram. Rajkumar’s mother Kamlesh Yadav passed away in 2016. The heart-wrenching incident happened when the actor was shooting for his film Newton.

Patralekha, on the other hand, lost her father in April earlier this year. In a heartfelt note, the actress mourned the sudden demise of her father and expressed all her feelings and anguish in the form of words. He expressed, “I am angry, I am sad, I am short of words, this pain, this sadness is tearing every part of me. You just left without saying anything Papa… I love you.” She further thanked them for giving them a wonderful life and always going the extra mile so that they can lead a better life! “You were the best father, the best husband. You loved your job, and you were the best at it,” she wrote. Patralekha finished the post and wrote, “See you papa on the other side… I love you.”

Last month on November 15, Patralekha and Rajkumar tied the knot in an intimate marriage in Chandigarh. After dating for 11 years, the two exchanged their wedding vows and promised to be together for the rest of their lives. It is said that the picture shared by the prince today is of the temple the couple built at their wedding.
