SmackDown: The Bloodline beat up Kevin Owens and The Street Profits (WWE)

Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa brutalized Kevin Owens and The Street Profits after The Bloodline lost by disqualification in a Six-Man Tag Team Match as Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles agreed to an “I Quit” Match at WWE Clash at the Castle.

The latest episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown was a lot of fun. The show was live from the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky. The event was packed with action, featuring four official matches. It also provided all the latest updates for the company’s upcoming WWE Clash at the Castle. Friday Night SmackDown began with Tonga Loa becoming the latest addition to The Bloodline. This was followed by WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes calling out AJ Styles who announced a fake retirement last week. Bayley also addressed the fans, discussing her upcoming WWE Women’s Championship match against Piper Niven. Finally, Kevin Owens teamed up with Street Profits to take on The Bloodline in the show’s main event.

Tonga Loa joins The Bloodline

The opening segment of WWE SmackDown began with Paul Heyman introducing himself to the crowd. He then said that until the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns returned to the company, Solo Sikoa would be sitting at the head of the table. Heyman acknowledged Tonga Loa as The Bloodline’s new member who would be known as “Infamous”. Sikoa hugged Loa after which Kevin Owens’ music hit as he approached the ring. Owens attacked The Bloodline with a chair, forcing them to retreat.

Cody Rhodes calls out AJ Styles

WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes demanded that AJ Styles come out in front of the fans to finish what they had once started. Styles walked down the ramp alongside his friends Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Styles said that he didn’t care about what the champion wanted. Instead, he demanded that Rhodes fight him in a championship match at WWE Clash At The Castle which the champion accepted. Rhodes added a condition that the upcoming fight would be an ‘I Quit’ match. SmackDown manager Nick Aldis made everything official after which Rhodes ran out of the ring to attack Styles but security intervened to separate the two individuals.

We hear from Bayley

Bayley addressed the fans and talked about entering unknown territory as she prepared to defend her WWE Women’s Championship against Piper Niven at Clash at the Castle. Before she could speak further, Niven interrupted the champion alongside Chelsea Green. Next, Green talked about how Bayley is a big old loser, so the fans kept booing her. Niven grabbed the microphone from her ally before saying that Bayley didn’t realise how difficult it would be for the champion to beat her. Niven added she would dethrone Bayley off her title at the upcoming premium live event. The segment ended in an intense staredown as Bayley held her title up in Niven’s face.
