WTC 2023 Final: Australia has won the World Test Championship. Australia defeated Team India by a score of 209 runs on the fifth day of the WTC final.
In the final match, India won the toss and decided to bowl first. Australia scored 469 runs in the first innings. After this the Indian team was dismissed for 296 runs. Australia declared the innings after scoring 270 runs and set a target of 444 runs to win.
Team India had scored 164 runs by losing three wickets before the end of the fourth day’s play, but on the fifth day the Indian team looked like cards. Team India scored only 234 runs in the second innings. Australia won the match by 209 runs to become the World Test Champion.
