Shafali Verma and Meg Lanning struck half-centuries to help Delhi Capitals reach 223/2 against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Women’s Premier League.

Shafali Verma and Meg Lanning struck fifties as Delhi Capitals demolished Royal Challengers Bangalore’s bowling attack to post 223 for 2 in a Women’s Premier League (WPL) match in Mumbai on Sunday.

While Shefali scored 84 runs in 45 balls, Meg played a brilliant knock of 72 runs in 43 balls. Marijan scored an unbeaten 39 off 17 balls, while Jemimah scored 22 off 15 balls to become the second-highest score in women’s T20 franchise cricket.
