Theme for World Energy Conservation Day 2021
The theme of World Energy Conservation Day 2021 has not been released yet. In 2020, the theme was ‘Conserving Energy and Save the Future’. BEE organized the National Energy Conservation Awards at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi to recognize and reward organizations and industrial units for achieving energy use and conservation goals. Many other events are also held on this day like discussions, conferences, debates, workshops and competitions across the country.
BEE conducts many activities on this day. It assures many industries to participate in the organized activities, hence raising awareness around the world. Industries that practice energy conservation are awarded by BEE. The award is also awarded to Zonal Railways, Buildings, State designated agencies and manufacturers of labeled equipment.
