World Book Fair, Delhi: Book lovers’ favorite hangout is back with a new look. It’s that time of year again when you need to make room on your bookshelf for some new books. Pragati Maidan in New Delhi will serve as the venue of the book fair. For the past 50 years, it has been an important publication calendar event. The program will officially start this year on February 25, 2023.

The theme of the New Delhi International Book Fair for 2023 will be “The Nectar of Freedom”, in honor of the 75th anniversary of India’s independence, as well as celebrating and remembering 75 years of India and its glorious past. Also, the New Delhi International Book Fair will display a variety of items other than books.

The venue of the 2023 International Book Fair is Pragati Maidan, located on Mathura Road in New Delhi, 110001. Entry to the fair will be from Gate No. 1. 4 and 10.

Tickets are available to the general public for Rs 10 for children and Rs 20 for adults.

Admission to the International Book Fair is free for school children, senior residents and persons with disabilities.

The theme of NDWBF 2023 this year is “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. It is committed to develop a space for the people of India for the advancement of a progressive outlook regarding the socio-cultural, political and economic character of their nation.

, G20 Pavilion: The theme of the World Book Fair will be integrated, and events will be planned, including an exhibition of books from G20 member countries.

, NEP Pavilion: National Institute of Design will develop an exclusive NEP 2020 pavilion of 1000 square meters and will also include Ed-Tech Zone, Event Zone and Presentation Area.

, Foreign Pavilion: As France will be the guest of honor at the 2023 World Book Fair, book lovers will have the exceptional opportunity to read numerous French books and translated works as well as engage with a delegation of over 60 French delegates.

They will host authors, publishers, literary agencies, cultural ambassadors and literary events in the Foreign Pavilion.

, Children’s Pavilion: The pavilion will host programs including skits, plays, street plays, storytelling sessions, seminars and panel discussions to encourage children’s literature and reading habits.
