Woman Gives Birth in Haryana Roadways Bus, Premature Child Fails to Survive

When the bus was crossing Mulana, the woman complained of severe labor pain. He said that some women present in the bus helped her to deliver the child.

A woman gave birth to a child on Friday in a Haryana Roadways bus going to Dehradun near Mullana, about 25 km from Ambala.

However, due to premature delivery, the baby could not survive, doctors said.

When the bus was crossing Mulana, the woman complained of severe labor pain. He said that some women present in the bus helped her to deliver the child.

Bus driver Salim Khan also took the bus to the Civil Hospital in Mullana. Doctors at the hospital declared the child brought dead, while the woman was admitted to the hospital.

Khan said the woman along with her husband, two children and brother-in-law boarded the bus from Ambala to Saharanpur.

The bus driver said that as soon as the bus reached Mullana, the woman had labor pains.

Kuldeep Singh, Principal Medical Officer of Mullana Civil Hospital, said that the delivery of the woman was premature.
