Woman Feels Her Fiance Treats Her Like ‘Maid’, Asks Internet For Solutions – News18

Relationships are all about mutually cooperating and helping even in seemingly simple tasks. Some people don’t wish to help their partner in any manner, which creates cracks in a relationship. A similar case was revealed in a confession story shared by a woman on Twitter. The woman (name not disclosed) shared her concerns about certain dissatisfactions she has been experiencing with her boyfriend. She and her boyfriend plan to marry by the year’s end. They are already living together. The social media user explained that initially, everything was fine and she could manage cooking and cleaning the house. Over time, she realised that her boyfriend wasn’t willing to help out at home, to the extent that he couldn’t even wash his dishes. The woman admitted that her partner is hardworking at his job but makes her feel like a maid at home. According to the woman, they often argue about the unwashed dishes and now she feels exhausted. “I don’t know how to approach him”, the woman added.

The woman expressed fear that their routine would change once they tie the knot. This woman, working full time, asked on social media how she could resolve this issue. Another problem in their relationship is that her partner doesn’t like to spend money on expensive food. She talked about her love for eating and how she is habitual in enjoying expensive meals, but usually only with her family. As per the woman, her mother always reminds her that when it comes to food, one shouldn’t be too calculating. She mentioned, “I’ve never asked him to take me out to a fancy dinner. In fact, I only asked him to get me snacks, and even then he said he doesn’t want to waste money on it.”

According to the woman, this attitude is even though they agreed that her boyfriend would pay the rent, while she would only have to cover the other bills.

Now that they are close to getting married, the woman is in a fix on how she should bring such issues to her boyfriend.
