Vadodara: A video of a man beating a woman with a stick has gone viral on social media. Police have started investigation to find out whether the video is from Chhota Udaipur or Alirajpur – the border district of Madhya Pradesh.
“We have contacted the police in Madhya Pradesh and they are also inquiring about the place where the video was shot. The video could be old too,” said a Katkar, deputy superintendent of police, Chhota Udepur.
In the short video, a man wearing a lungi is seen beating a girl with a stick. The girl is crying loudly while apologizing by tying her with a rope to a stick.
The video does not explain why the man is hitting the woman.
