Vax.India.Now raised lakhs for the people of India with a star-studded virtual event meant to uplift spirits as the country grapples with the Covid-19 crisis. The event, which was livestreamed by CNN and Dreamstage.live, was hosted by Hasan Minhaj last month and features Liam Neeson, Annie Lennox, AR Rahman, Gloria Estefan, Sting, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, Yo-Yo Many celebs including Ma were involved. David Foster, Asif Mandvi and Nishat Khan.
The brainchild of Anuradha Palakurthi, who runs her foundation out of New England that supports the promotion of Indian culture, Wax.India. Now put a spotlight on what is happening on the ground in India.
