Wipro appoints former KPMG executive Satya Easwaran as country head for India

New Delhi: Satya Easwaran, a former senior executive of KPMG, has been appointed as the India head of IT major Wipro.

Easwaran will be in charge of strengthening Wipro’s business across key industry segments in the country through strategic consultancy, transformation and modernization, the company said in a statement on Monday.

According to a PTI report, Easwaran will help customers leverage Wipro’s capabilities and investments in cloud, digital, engineering R&D, data, analytics and cyber security for their business and digital transformation initiatives.

Prior to joining Wipro, he was Head of Business Consulting at KPMG India and a leader in the telecom, media and technology sectors.
