New Delhi: Satya Easwaran, a former senior executive of KPMG, has been appointed as the India head of IT major Wipro.
Easwaran will be in charge of strengthening Wipro’s business across key industry segments in the country through strategic consultancy, transformation and modernization, the company said in a statement on Monday.

According to a PTI report, Easwaran will help customers leverage Wipro’s capabilities and investments in cloud, digital, engineering R&D, data, analytics and cyber security for their business and digital transformation initiatives.

Prior to joining Wipro, he was Head of Business Consulting at KPMG India and a leader in the telecom, media and technology sectors.
During his tenure at KPMG, in India and the US, and at Accenture India, Easwaran held several leadership positions in management consulting with a focus on Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Cloud, Digital, Strategy and Transformation. Did. said the statement.
He holds an engineering degree in Electronics from the University of Mumbai, and an MBA in Finance and International Business from the Livy School of Business, Santa Clara University.
