‘Will take action’: MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan speaks on Khargone violence and more

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan spoke exclusively to India Today on the bulldozer politics in the state and the Khargone Ram Navami violence and more. Shivraj Singh Chouhan warned that his government would not spare anyone involved in riots and disturbing peace in the state.

In Khargone, a Ram Navami procession was allegedly pelted with stones, following which the police had to use tear gas shells to control the situation. A senior police officer said that the arson was followed by stone-pelting and some vehicles and houses were torched. After the incident, curfew was imposed in the entire Khargone city on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.
