New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia spoke to ABP News on Thursday and shared his views on the upcoming elections.

Speaking to Shobhana Yadav, Sisodia said that her party will contest the elections whole-heartedly in four of the five states – Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Goa and Uttarakhand.

The Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has a stronghold in Punjab, with several opinion polls and polls giving them its fair share of seats in the state.

Punjab is likely to see a hung assembly, with AAP emerging as the single largest party in the state in the 2022 state elections, predicted an ABP-CVoter opinion poll earlier this month.

Asked who would be AAP’s CM candidate for Punjab, Sisodia said the party will announce the name when the time comes and he is grateful that people want Arvind Kejriwal as the Chief Minister of Punjab.

A recent ABP-Couture survey showed that 21.6 per cent of the respondents said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is their preferred choice to become the next Chief Minister of Punjab.

Responding to the question of AAP being the CM candidate for Punjab, Sisodia categorically refuted the speculations saying that like Arvind Kejriwal is the CM of Delhi and cannot go anywhere else, he too should work for the welfare of the national capital. would like to continue doing.
