New Delhi: South Africa registered their first win of the tournament by defeating West Indies by 8 wickets at the Dubai International Stadium in their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup match. Batting first, West Indies had given a target of 144 runs to South Africa, which South Africa achieved by losing 2 wickets in 18.2 overs.
Aidan Markram played a key role in helping South Africa win over the Windies by playing an unbeaten 51.
