Former Australia leg-spinner Shane Warne has never dodged any controversy in his life. The cricketer’s illustrious career has been marred by a string of embarrassing scandals. The 51-year-old has a reputation for being a ladies man and, less surprisingly, continues to have an active profile on the dating app, Tinder. Close friends of the former spin magician say that despite reaching middle age, the cricketer refuses to give up on his womanizing ways.
Lawrence Mooney, one of Warne’s former drinking buddies, recently opened up about why the cricket icon is considered a ladies man by the cricket fraternity. The Triple M Sydney radio host described a night in 2018 on Tuesday. Recounting his experiences partying with his friend, Lawrence said, “Varney was on the phone the whole time and then he was like, “Hey guys, I’m leaving.” He laughed, adding, “His life is Tinder. , beer, darts, gambling and cricket. Those five things, that’s all.”
The Moonman in the Morning presenter had previously spoken to Warne’s teammates. Upon learning more about his reputation, he came to know that cricketers drop out of parties early to meet women. She said, “The next thing he wants to do is… He doesn’t want to go to bed alone.” One of the greatest bowlers in history, Warne has confessed to being a prolific user of Tinder.
