On September 16, Donald Trump narrowly escaped assassination when a sniper with an AK-47 rifle got within a few hundred yards of him at a golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida. Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw said, “With a rifle and scope like that, the distance is not significant.” Suspect took a shot at Trump but was thwarted by Secret Service agents who opened fire.
