Natasha Danish Ali, a Pakistani woman, has sparked outrage on social media after a viral video showed her smiling and appearing unremorseful following an accident in which she allegedly killed two people with her car.

Natasha, who was driving a Toyota Land Cruiser, has been arrested for reckless driving that resulted in the deaths of Imran Arif, 60, and his daughter Amna Arif near Karsaz on August 19.

According to Dawn, the accident happened when Natasha attempted to turn her SUV, striking a motorbike and then colliding with two more motorcyclists before her vehicle flipped and hit a parked car. Four additional people were injured and hospitalised.

Despite the gravity of the incident, Natasha was captured on camera smiling and showing no visible remorse. In one viral video, she can be heard saying, “Tum mere baap ko nahi jantay” (you don’t know who my father is). In another video, she appears indifferent while being urged by bystanders to “control [her] attitude” as police officers shield her from a potential mob.

During the incident, eyewitnesses reported that Natasha appeared intoxicated and attempted to flee but was restrained by bystanders and handed over to authorities.

Despite facing multiple charges under the Pakistan Penal Code, Natasha has remained at home rather than in police custody. Her attorney, Amir Mansub, claimed she was “receiving treatment at Jinnah Hospital” and her mental state “was not stable.” However, hospital records, obtained by MM News, show she was declared fit and did not require psychiatric intervention.

Social Media Outcry

The incident has sparked widespread criticism online, with accusations that Natasha is receiving preferential treatment due to her status. Social media users have claimed that despite her involvement in the deaths, she is being handled differently, and has even skipped court proceedings.

A user on X has alleged that media coverage of the incident is being suppressed, claiming that publications such as the Express Tribune have removed stories about the crash.

“Karsaz Accident: Express Tribune Deleted all Three Stories related to Karsaz Accident. Pressure or What?,” the user asked.

Another user commented: “If this elite woman gets away with killing multiple people, there will be NO hope left for the poor people. Aisa hai mera Pakistan.”
