The Congress party has fielded a new contender, KL Sharma, who is all set to take Rahul Gandhi’s place in the Amethi Lok Sabha constituency
Ending the suspense over the Gandhi family’s traditional seats from Uttar Pradesh, the Congress party on Friday announced that Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi will contest from Raebareli, while Kishori Lal Sharma will fight from Amethi.
KL Sharma is all set to contest the Lok Sabha Election 2024 against BJP leader and Union minister Smriti Irani, the present BJP MP in Amethi.
