The White House said on Thursday it is in touch with its Israeli counterparts for more information on Israel’s strike in Gaza that killed UN Palestinian refugee agency UNRWA staffers this week.
Six UNRWA staffers were killed after two airstrikes hit a school in central Gaza on Wednesday, the agency said, marking what it said was the highest death toll among its staff in a single incident.
