The White House said on Wednesday that a second American was killed in Sudan on Tuesday amid violence between the warring sides.
White House national security spokesman John Kirby told reporters that violence there had significantly reduced and that the United States was actively facilitating the departure of a small number of Americans seeking to leave Sudan.
