Sunil Shetty’s dream was to share screen space with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Sunil Shetty made his debut in the 1992 film Balwaan.

Sunil Shetty has carved a niche for himself in the film industry as an action hero. But later, he tested his acting skills by portraying a variety of versatile roles, which were accepted by the public with great enthusiasm. Although Suniel Shetty has worked with many B-town divas in his film career, the actor in an earlier interview expressed regret that the two films in which he was cast opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan never hit the theatres. I didn’t come.

Working with former Miss World Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was almost every actor’s dream. And Suniel Shetty was no exception. But sadly, two films titled Hum Paanch Ek Daal Ke and Radhe Shyam Sita Ram with Aishwarya failed to materialize and she was shelved. In an interview with BBC Hindi, Suniel Shetty lamented, “I did two films with the most beautiful girl in the world, but they didn’t release, so that was my bad luck.”

Sunil Shetty made his debut as an actor in Bollywood with the 1992 film Balwaan. He was paired opposite late actress Divya Bharti. The film was a huge success at the box office. After Balwaan, many of Sunil Shetty’s films did not reach the theatres, including Hum Paanch Ek Daal Ke and Radhe Shyam Sita Ram.

Sunil Shetty has given many superhit films like Gopi Kishan, Dhadkan, Bhai and Saput in his illustrious career. Now, the actor is all set to return to the sets of the third installment of his iconic comedy Hera Pheri, titled Hera Pheri 3. Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal will also be reuniting with Sunil for the upcoming film. The previous two installments of this popular franchise proved to be huge commercial successes. It will be very interesting to see whether the third sequel can surpass the charm of the previous two films or not.

Apart from films, Suniel Shetty has recently started his journey as a businessman with a food delivery app named Vayu. The app has been developed by tech entrepreneurs Anirudh Kotgire and Mandar Lande. The Food App is supported by Mumbai based Indian Hotel and Restaurant Association (AHAR).
