soon after Sidharth Shukla After winning the 13th season of the reality television show Bigg Boss, the actor gained massive fan following on social media. The actor also made a comeback in the initial few weeks of the 14th season of Bigg Boss, which ended earlier this year. Apart from being a participant of the reality show, Shukla also played the role of host of Bigg Boss 14 for an episode earlier this year when the actor Salman Khan, who originally hosted the show, had to take leave for work.
Shukla worked for Khan in an episode of Weekend Ka Vaar in January. Khan was supposed to attend actor Varun Dhawan’s wedding on January 24 and hence, could not shoot for the weekend episode of Bigg Boss. However, given the popularity of Shukla, the episode was well received by the audience.

His alleged girlfriend and Bigg Boss 13 housemate Shehnaaz Gill also cheered for him. Taking to Twitter, the actress wrote, “Loved today’s Weekend Ka Vaar. The way you listened to everyone and spoke at the same time without hurting anyone or interfering with their game was amazing.

As the news of Shukla’s untimely demise shook the entertainment industry, Khan himself took to social media to offer condolences. The 55-year-old actor wrote on his Twitter handle, “Gone too soon Siddharth..you will be missed a lot. Condolences to the family..RIP.”

Actor Varun Dhawan, who starred opposite Shukla in the 2014 film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, also tweeted his reaction to the news. Dhawan shared pictures from the film’s promotional event, which also featured Alia Bhatt, and wrote, “RIP bhai.”
Shukla appeared as a senior contestant in the first few weeks of the 14th season of Bigg Boss alongside Hina Khananand Gauahar Khan. Senior contestants introduced reality shows to new contestants and often indulged in entertaining acts and talks.
Shukla died of a heart attack at the age of 40.
