Screenwriter Salim Khan was married to Salma and had four children, Salman, Sohail, Arbaaz and Alvira, when he tied the knot with actor-dancer Helen in 1981. Helen was popular for her dance numbers in the 1960s and 1970s. However, when both got married, everyone was in shock. Well, it is quite clear that it was not an easy step for Helen to be accepted by the Khan family. But over time, when the family realized that Helen was not a home breaker, but a kind and warm person who wished only the best for her stepchildren, they accepted her. The superstar said that he hated when his mother waited for his father to come home after his second marriage.
