Neha Dhupia had once said that her wedding with Angad Bedi was so last-minute that their parents had to quickly book a gurudwara for the Anand Karaj ceremony.
Neha Dhupia is celebrating her birthday on August 27. The former Miss India, who married Angad Bedi in 2018 and now has two kids, shocked everyone with her sudden gurudwara wedding. In an old interview with Film Companion, Neha spilled the beans about her ‘messy’ wedding. She revealed that she and Angad ‘never dated’ before tying the knot and that the whole thing was so last-minute their parents had to quickly book a gurudwara for the Anand Karaj ceremony.
She had said, “We didn’t date for a single day of our lives. I swear! I am saying this on record: we did not date for a single day of our lives. We’ve been friends, and we’ve seen each other through different relationships. He’s all heart, and then, right before I left Roadies, I was like, he’s not bad, he’s amazing. I love him. He always had a piece of my heart, but not like that.”
Neha shared that after the decision was made, their parents quickly met in New Delhi, and suddenly, a wedding date was set. She mentioned that she had to call designer Anita Dongre at the last minute to rent the pink lehenga she wore.
Meanwhile, Neha Dhupia has flown to the Maldives to celebrate her 44th birthday. She is joined by her husband, Angad Bedi, their children Mehr and Guriq, and her parents, Babli and Pradeep Dhupia. The trip is filled with happy moments, which Neha has been sharing with her fans on Instagram. Recently, she posted a photo on Stories with the family. Neha looked stunning in casual attire with white pants and a pink shirt, while Angad wore blue jeans and a black T-shirt.
Neha Dhupia also uploaded a picture with her mother, Babli Dhupia. The mother-daughter duo can be seen relaxing on a couch and enjoying the Maldivian sun. Neha captioned the photo, “We here.”
