“In those days, tickets were sold in black. It was my dream to get tickets to the show and watch the movie in Minerva, which my father fulfilled a few weeks later. I have seen many such dreams related to cinema after watching so many movies.

“For two-three years I worked in the film Hum Bachche Hindostan Ke and that dream came true, after that, I acted in many films… a film named Athang. So dreams can be small or big but if you focus, work hard for them and give some time to them, they come true.

“It was nice to have my family visit the sets from time to time while making infinite films. One day my father, retired assistant commissioner of police, Mumbai, Sri Sriram Gawli sahib came on the set and my friend Kanna Ayre was shooting the same scene, our dressman brought the DCP uniform in front of my father.

“Dad saw it and said that all these badges/batch are wrong, DCP’s dress but Havaldar’s batch/badge. We didn’t realize it. We are all false heroes of cinema. Hero in our country is like my father. The rights of Athang are with Shemaroo.”
