Luv Sinha caught everyone’s attention for allegedly missing his sister Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding with Zaheer Iqbal. Rumours of a feud between Luv and Sonakshi first arose when he told the media that he was not involved in his sister’s wedding. Luv was not seen in the pictures going viral from Sonakshi’s wedding celebrations. While the actor has yet to dismiss these rumours, his old interviews have caught everyone’s attention.
Last year, Siddharth Kannan asked Luv if his father Shatrughan Sinha and his sister Sonakshi could see through fake people easily. He said, “Mujh main aur mere bhai (Kussh) main bohot zyada hai (understanding of who is fake). Sonakshi I would say a little less compared to us. Like I said, it’s the trajectory. Unka safar hi bohot alag raha hai industry main.”
He added, “I’m saying this as a matter of fact. Main burai nahi kar raha apni family ki. Pitaji bohot acchi tarah pehchaan lete hain par unka ek gunn (quality) hai ki voh benefit of doubt dete hain saamne wale ko. Kayi baar voh jaante bhi hain ki saamne wala sahi nahi kar raha hai, but he’ll let it slide. He has always helped others in his life, apna swarth nahi dekha unhone.”
In the same chat, Luv also spoke about the importance of family unity. He said, “We have seen these highs and lows together. I think that is what makes us stay united. We have to be united for each other. Bahar wala aayega voh dikhaega ki aapne liye aa raha hai but generally most of them have an agenda. Family members never have an agenda.”
Sonakshi got married to Zaheer Iqbal on Sunday, June 23. They hosted a civil marriage ceremony, which was attended by Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha. Sonakshi’s brothers Luv Sinha and Kussh S Sinha were visibly missing from the wedding photos. Luv had also shared cryptic posts that hinted that all was not good between him and Sonakshi.
Earlier today, Luv Sinha, slammed a media report claiming that he was absent from the actress’ wedding and reception ceremonies. Luv took to his Instagram Story to share a Hindustan Times report and wrote, “A ‘Source’. They need better sources.” The report in question claimed that Luv had skipped Sonakshi’s wedding and her wedding reception.
The report quoted a source as saying, “Sonakshi’s parents attended the wedding, and were naturally elated about the day. However, her brothers didn’t come to the wedding as well as the reception. The photographers didn’t spot the two entering the venue, till the very end. And everyone found it to be really weird.”
The portal had also reached out to Luv for a comment on the same and he told them, “Please give it a day or two. I’ll respond to your question then if I feel I can. Thank you for asking.” As per the report, Luv didn’t deny the rumours or avoid the question about his alleged absence.
