The UPI payment process mentions that you can scan the UPI QR code at the local store and make the payment through WhatsApp. Before opening a chat in WhatsApp, users should tap on the camera icon.
After tapping on the camera, the camera icon will open and users can scan any UPI QR code. A message will automatically be sent to the WhatsApp contact as soon as the payment is complete.
