According to reports, Zaheer Iqbal’s parents stole the show at the reception party. His mother was seen wearing a royal outfit. She reportedly wore an ivory Anarkali, with a shiny pearly long skirt. She looked gorgeous in the outfit. Sonakshi Sinha’s mother-in-law wore light makeup which made her skin glow more at the reception. She was also seen wearing a beautiful mehendi on her hand which gave her an elegant look. She was seen posing with her husband Iqbal Ratansi, who was seen wearing a white kurta and Pyjama along with an Indian-style bandhgala jacket.
Sonakshi Sinha’s family was also seen in gorgeous outfits. Her father Shatrughan Sinha was seen wearing a royal blue kurta and dhoti, while her mother was seen attending the reception party wearing a light pink sharara set. He wore a silver necklace and a big red bindi which gave her a complete look.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal had a very simple wedding. The couple opted for a civil marriage under the Special Marriage Act, 1954. Following the wedding, the couple hosted a grand party for their close friends and family members.
Earlier a controversy was shared on social media about Sonakshi Sinha’s conversion to Islam. Talking about the controversy Zaheer’s father said in an interview, “She is not converting and that is for sure. Theirs is a union of hearts and religion has no role to play whatsoever”.
