Asked where Kohli lagged behind as RCB captain, Akram said, “I don’t know where he lagged. He is a very hardworking boy. Maybe he is focusing so much on Indian cricket and in IPL sometimes the burden of captaincy falls on you. So, it is better where it is. He is doing much better and looks like he is enjoying his game.

Akram further said that captaincy is a habit and Dhoni is someone who inspires his teammates and instills confidence in them.

“And if we talk about Dhoni, he has a knack. Because captaincy is a habit. Even Virat eventually developed it. He is not calm inside and does not reflect on his face. But the player knows what sometimes deserves a shout or a pat on the back. Hence, Dhoni is such a captain who instills confidence in his players,” concluded Akram.
