What does Apple’s March 8 launch event hint at – Times of India

Apple Have issued a media invite for your special event to be held next week. The online event will be held on March 8th at 10am PT (approximately 10:30am IST). Although Apple isn’t known to reveal anything about its upcoming products, media invites for its special events often give an indication of what people can expect. This time was no exception, with this month’s Apple Special Events media invite also hinting at something. Here are the hints we saw in the Apple invite and what they might indicate.
“Peak Performance” Tagline on Apple Special Event Invitational
At first glance, some might think there’s a typo in the “Peak Performance” tagline and confuse “Peak” with “Peak.” But that’s Apple’s way of teasing its products. With the tagline, Apple may hint at its upcoming performance oriented products. The company is reportedly working on new Macs with its next-generation M2 silicon chip and the tagline hints that we might see some of them at the special event.
A report by 9to5Google suggests that the company may be teasing the third generation iPhone SE. According to the report, the tech giant is pointing towards 5G connectivity in the company. iPhone SE 3 As Apple used a similar tagline, “Hi, Speed” when it launched the iPhone 12 series which was Apple’s first smartphone with 5G connectivity.
It is also rumored that Apple is working on an AR/VR headset that sports three screens and operates as a Mac. As “peak performance” fits in perfectly with the product, we may see Apple’s first mixed reality headset on March 8.
Colorful Apple logo on Apple special event invitation
Apple has also put a colorful logo on the media invite for the March 8 event. Apple has used five different colors in the logo – yellow, orange, red, pink and purple. This could be a hint about the upcoming color options for the products launching next week. In the past few years, Apple has introduced new pastel colors for its products and with the Media Invite logo, it looks like we might see vibrant color options for the iPhone SE 3 or iPad Air. The current generation iPhone SE comes in three color options: White, Black and Red.
Like in previous years, you can also see an augmented reality version of the Apple logo on your iPhone and iPad. Apart from this, the company has also created a Twitter hashflag for the upcoming event. When you use #AppleEvent on Twitter, you’ll be able to see a similar Apple logo next to the hashtag.
