Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination (CSE) Not only is it considered one of the most challenging tests India But all over the world. Candidates work hard day and night to crack the exam. With the online registration process for CSE 2023 starting from 1st February, aspirants across the country were in need of motivation to navigate the challenging road ahead. One such push came from someone who himself passed the test. Awanish Sharan, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, took to Twitter to share a picture of his call letter from a decade ago.

Sharan, a 2009 batch IAS officer of Chhattisgarh cadre, is quite popular on social media for sharing exam tips for UPSC aspirants. On Wednesday, February 1, he shared his call letter for the personality test (or interview) round of UPSC CSE. The document stated April 13, 2009 as the date of the interview. “My call letter for Civil Services Exam interview,” reads his post on Twitter.

The photo has gone viral within a day of being put out. Sharan’s tweet has received more than 370,000 views so far. The comments section is also buzzing with activity. In the picture shared by Sharan, many users are seeing his dream. Many hope that they too will one day be able to boast of such a feat.

One user called it a ‘dream of thousands’ while another wrote, ‘Hope one day I too get it on my Gmail’. Another person rightly said that it is a ray of hope, an encouragement for the aspirants.

One said, “UPSC released notification for Civil Services Exam 2023 today and posting your call letter is the kind of motivation we all aspirants need.”

The last date to submit the application form for UPSC CSE 2023 is February 21. Candidates can apply for UPSC CSE through the official website upsconline.nic.in. The final stage of the examination, they have to qualify the preliminary and mains before the candidates can make it to the Personality Test round. UPSC has notified that 1105 posts will be filled through the recruitment drive, which is the highest in the last seven years.
