After meeting Sonia Gandhi, Mamta Banerjee said that everyone will have to unite to defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party. He further said that the opposition is nothing alone and hence everyone had to work together. Mamata Banerjee’s meeting with various opposition leaders assumes significance as she could be the face of all parties fighting against the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
