Bose contracted the virus along with his wife and a domestic help during the first Covid wave in May 2020.
During that time he was also admitted to the hospital for some time.
He was recently meeting with Trinamool Party workers and others for the upcoming Vidhannagar Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections.
More than 300 fresh cases are being reported daily in the BMC area of ​​Salt Lake and Rajarhat.
