Once declared, students who appeared for the exam can check the Madhyamik result on the official website of WBBSE, wbbse.wb.gov.in.

West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) is planning to declare the State Secondary (Class 10) 2023 result by the end of May. According to media reports, WBBSE President Ramanuj Ganguly told that this year the class 10th result is likely to be declared by the third or fourth week of May. Once declared, students who appeared for the exam can check the Class 10 results on the official websites of WBBSE, wbbse.wb.gov.in and wbresults.nic.in.

The WB Secondary exam was conducted from February 23 to March 4 in a single shift. The WB Board Exam was conducted at designated centers in the state. The duration of the exam for all the subject papers was three hours. The students were given 15 minutes to read the question paper. The WB class 10 exam was conducted for 800 marks. To pass the exam, students have to score a total of 272 marks.

In 2022, the WB Secondary Results were declared on 3rd June. This time too, the board is expected to release the class 10 results around this time. As per media reports, last year the overall pass percentage was 86.60 per cent. Furthermore, boys performed better than girls. A total of 88.59 per cent boys passed the exam while 85 per cent girls secured qualifying marks.

Meanwhile, a Questions on Gandhi in Secondary History Paper Created controversy on social media.
