Ganesh Chaturthi is being celebrated with a lot of joy, fervour and enthusiasm today. The festival, also known as Vinayak Chaturthi or Vinayak Chavithi, is celebrated all over the country, especially in Maharashtra. The festival is celebrated by installing clay idols of Ganesha in homes and grandly decorated public pandals. Keeping up with the auspicious tradition, Bollywood actress Ananya Panday is celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi in full swing. This year, she welcomed Lord Ganesha into her home with open arms, joining the millions who celebrate this vibrant festival. Ananya took to Instagram to share her excitement and posted heartfelt pictures of her family gathered around their deity.

The series of photos she has posted has a snap of her posing beside the Ganesha idol, a close-up of Lord Ganesha, followed by a few other photos of her close family members including her father Chunky Panday and mother Bhavna Pandey. She captioned the post with a warm message, “Welcome home Bappppa.”

Meanwhile, Ananya Panday has an extra special reason to thank Lord Ganesha this year. She is currently riding high on the success of her debut web series, Call Me Bae, which premiered on Amazon Prime Video on September 6.

In a recent conversation with ANI, Ananya expressed her excitement about the project, saying, “From the start, I knew Call Me Bae was a project I wanted to be part of. Even without knowing the script, I felt it was going to be something special. Playing a multi-layered character like Bae was both exciting and rewarding. Bae’s journey from an heiress to a hustler is compelling and intriguing, showing her resilience and zest for life.”

The series begins by showcasing Bae’s lavish life in New Delhi, which takes a sudden turn when her family cuts her off. As the plot shifts to Mumbai, the narrative follows Bae as she faces new challenges and adapts to a very different reality. With an upbeat soundtrack, the series traces her journey as she navigates the city’s public transportation and steps into a new role as a journalist.

Call Me Bae features Ananya Panday as Bella Bae Chowdhary and boasts a stellar supporting cast including Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra and Mini Mathur.
