Eight wedding processions were killed late Monday night in a horrific road accident in Rajasthan’s Barmer. According to the police, 9 members of a family resident of Sedia (Jalore) were in the car, out of which 8 lost their lives. The accident took place near Bata Phate under Gudamalani police station in Barmer district.
In this accident Poonmaram (45) son Dhimaram, Prakash (28) son Pemaram, Manish (12) son Poonamaram, Prince (5) son Mangilal, Bhagirathram (38) son Pokraram and Poonmaram (48) son Bhagwanram resident Khara Jalore, including 6 people. died on the spot, while Mangilal (35) son Nainaram and Budhram (40) son Kanaram died during treatment. Prakash (20) son Harjiram Vishnoi is seriously injured, who is undergoing treatment at the hospital in Sanchore.
The accident was so horrific that it took half an hour to rescue the occupants of the car.

The procession got down from the other vehicle involved in the procession and tried to rescue the people trapped in the car. Police said that the procession was going to Gudamalani, Kandhi ki Dhani in Barmer district.
