“During the festive season there has been a lot of gatherings among the residents and the increased travel has added to the numbers. “We were expecting a third wave in the first week of October, but by then the vaccination campaign has nullified its impact. The volume of cases is not as high as we expected. Nevertheless, we are focusing on aggressive vaccination of residents to thwart any spike in cases,” said Dr. Ubale.
