CAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Graduation / Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognized University / Institute. Final year students are also eligible to apply for CAT 2021.
- to be Eligible for CAT Exam 2021, 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PWD) in Bachelor’s/Bachelor’s degree were mandatory. However, due to the pandemic situation in the country, some changes have been made in this regard:
- Candidates in Final Year: Students having “Promotion/Pass” instead of “Award of Marks” certificate in any of the last two years of Bachelor’s degree can enter “Promotion or Pass” option in CAT Application Form. This will allow the student to complete and submit the CAT 2021 application form. This eligibility relaxation Also applies to final year students with “awards” of points.
- Candidates Graduated in 2020 and 2021: Due to the implementation of the above point, and considering that different assessment patterns may be adopted by different Institutes/Universities across the country due to the COVID pandemic, the CAT Committee has decided to remove the minimum percentage has decided.
