The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) released the model answer key for the JECA and JELET exam 2024. Both these exams are conducted for students seeking admission to MCA and BE BTech and BPharm programmes. Candidates can download the WBJEEB 2024 model answer key via the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in. To access, candidates must enter their application number and password generated during the registration.

Step 1: Go to the official website of WBJEEB at wbjeeb.nic.in

Step 2: Look for and click on the ‘Examinations’ tab on the homepage. Select the JECA or JELET 2024 exam from the dropdown list.

Step 3: As a new page opens, search for the ‘Candidates Activity Board’ tab and click on it. Following this, the respective JECA or JELET page will appear on the screen.

Step 4: Key in the required credentials – Application Number, Password, and Security Pin to access the model answer key. Click on submit.

Step 5: The WBJEEB JECA, JELET 2024 Model Answer Key will appear on the screen.

Step 6: Check all the answer keys and raise objections, if required.

Candidates must pay a non-refundable WBJEEB answer key challenge fee of Rs 500 for each question challenged. It is important to note that the answer key challenge window closes tomorrow, July 14. The board stated that the final answer key would be released after considering the answer key objections.

The WBJEEB JELET 2024 was an Optical mark recognition (OMR)-based common admission test that took place from June 21 to June 29. The exam consisted of two papers: paper 1 was for a diploma in engineering, technology, or BSc students, and paper 2 was for a diploma in pharmacy candidates.

Meanwhile, the JECA was conducted for admission to the Master of Computer Application (MCA). This paper consists of 100 questions divided into two sections. Category 1 included 80 questions of 1 mark each, and each wrong response resulted in a one-fourth mark cut, but Category 2 had 20 questions that carried two marks and no negative marking.
