New Delhi: A video of the IndiGo pilot is going viral on social media, in which he can be seen expressing gratitude to the Kargil war hero during an in-flight announcement. As soon as he announced that Param Vir Chakra awardee Subedar Major Sanjay Kumar was traveling in the same flight, other passengers cheered and clapped for him.
While making the announcement the pilot said, “We have a very special person on board today. We have Param Vir Chakra winner Subedar Major Sanjay Kumar. For those who do not know what this award is, this award has been given to only 21 people in Indian history so far. It is the highest gallantry and gallantry award given during wartime.”
