Rishi and Priyanka Kumar’s much-awaited film Rudra Garuda Purana has been creating buzz since the project was announced. Viewers were eagerly waiting for more updates on the film. Recently, the makers surprised the viewers and dropped the teaser of this film on Wednesday, which is currently garnering everyone’s attention. On this occasion, a grand teaser launch event was held at Prasad Film Labs in Hyderabad.
Director-producer Madhura Sreedhar Reddy was present as the chief guest at the event and launched the banner logo, while actor Syed Sohel Ryan released the Telugu teaser.
The recently unveiled teaser offers a glimpse into an intriguing narrative centred around a bus involved in a mysterious accident 25 years ago. The bus has reappeared under enigmatic circumstances, adding to the film’s mysterious allure. Overall, the teaser is set against the backdrop of a blazing bus and creates a significant buzz.

Meanwhile, at the teaser launch event, lead actor Rishi shared his experience of working on the film. The actor said, “First thanks to Madhura Sreedhar Reddy sir and Sohel who came to support. In Rudra Garuda Purana, I played a powerful character called Rudra. The film revolves around a bus that had an accident 25 years ago. The film will take an interesting turn when it reveals what happened after all the dead people came back. Director KS Nandeesh is shooting this film very passionately. The Telugu audience will support us.”
While KS Nandeesh said, ‘Special thanks to producer Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and hero Sohel who came to support our project. Our hero Rishi has already done a Telugu film. Rudra Garuda Purana is a special film for me and will be released in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages. We wanted to do the teaser launch event in Hyderabad. I hope everyone likes the teaser,’ he said.
Rudra Garuda Purana is produced by Ashwini Lohith under the banner of Ashwini Arts. Rudra Garuda Purana marks the production company’s debut. The film also features a talented ensemble cast including Vinod Alva, Avinash, Shivaraj KR Pete, Giri, KS Shridhar, Ashwini Gouda, Ram Pavan, Vamshi, Aakarsh, Joseph, Prabhakar, Gautam Mysuru, Sneek Shyam and Ranganath Bharadwaj, along with comedy stars Jagappa, Prasanna Handrang, Radvi and others in supporting roles.
The makers are aiming for a 2024 release but are yet to finalise the exact date.
