Shoaib Malik had earlier discussed this during Peshawar Zalmi’s first leg meeting against Karachi Kings. Karachi fast bowler Mohammad Amir was seen reacting angrily after being hit for a boundary by Babar Azam in the match. After the match, Malik spoke openly on this matter.

Batting first, Peshawar Zalmi posted a mammoth score of 197/5. West Indies batsman Rovman Powell emerged as Peshawar’s top-scorer with 64. Mohammad Amir took four wickets in the game. The Karachi-based franchise could eventually manage to reach a total of 173. Aamer Jamal and Azmatullah Umarzai scalped three wickets each to secure a 24-run victory for Peshawar.

Karachi Kings, with just two wins from seven matches, are now fifth in the Pakistan Super League standings. Peshawar Zalmi, on the other hand, now occupy the fourth position in the points table.
