Sarathkumar’s daughter Vaxalaxmi got married to her longtime partner Nicholai Sachdev.
South actress Varalaxmi, daughter of actor-politician Sarathkumar, has tied the knot with her fiance Nicholai Sachdev. The grand wedding reportedly took place on July 2 in Thailand in the presence of family and close friends. Prior to the big day, the family hosted grand pre-wedding events, pictures and videos of which have taken over the internet. The festivities kicked off with a mehendi ceremony, which was followed by a glamorous sangeet night. The bride-to-be was clicked with her best friend Trisha Krishnan and other stars at her sangeet.
In one of the videos going viral, Varalaxmi’s father Sarathkumar, along with his Radikaa could be seen showing their epic dance moves on the stage. Basking in the moment, the duo looked perfectly synchronised and in rhythm as they grooved to Dhanush and Sai Pallavi’s Rowdy Baby. Their expressions were also on point, leaving the audience cheering.
Later, Radikaa Sarathkumar also gave a solo performance on Ponmangal Vandhal, followed by Sarathkumar’s group performance with his daughters and friends on the Shava Shava song.
The star of the day, Varaxlaxmi Sarathkumar performed on popular Bollywood song Desi Girl with her friends at the sangeet. In other pictures from the wedding event, Trisha, Archana Kalpathi and Rajinikanth, among others, were seen gracing the festivities.
Varalaxmi And Nicholai Sachdev Tie The Knot
After remaining together for a long time, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Nicholai Sachdev decided to get married this year. They got engaged on March 1 in an intimate ceremony accompanied by their family members. Nicholai is a Mumbai-based art gallerist. Varalaxmi is the daughter of Sarathkumar and his first wife Chaya. She also has a sister named Pooja. Later, Sarathkumar got married to Radikaa.
While official pictures from their wedding are yet to be revealed, Sarathkumar — through a press note — has promised to share the pictures shortly after the reception, adding that the couple would greet the press and media in Chennai on July 3.
On the work front, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will soon be seen alongside Dhanush in his upcoming film Raayan. Also directed by Dhanush, the film stars SJ Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Prakash Raj, Kalidas Jayaram, Aparna Balamurali, Selvaraghavan and Dushara Vijayan. Raayan will be released on July 26. She also has a Kannada film Max in the pipeline.
