MumbaiFarhan Akhtar, who is gearing up for the release of ‘Toofan’, is ranked ninth as the promo of his much-awaited film was displayed on a billboard in New York’s Times Square. The multi-talented artist shared his excitement with his fans on social media as he posted a clip of the video to Billboard showing the promo of Storm.
Farhan penned a heartfelt note reminiscing his first visit to Times Square in NYC. He said that he always wanted his film to be released at major tourist destinations.
Akhtar thanked Amazon Prime Video for making his ‘dream come true’ and dedicated the achievement to his family, friends and fans in the United States.
“I remember the first time I went to Times Square in NYC, looking at all those billboards and wondering if it wouldn’t be cool to have a movie represented here! Well, today that dream came true, courtesy of Amazon Prime Video From the ones taking the storm across the Atlantic. To all my family, friends and fans in America, this one’s for you. #toofaanonprime #16thjuly,” read the caption for the post.

Mrunal, who was seen opposite Farhan, made a comment on his post. He appreciated their dedication and hard work. “More strength to you Farhan for all you have done and how hard you have worked! Your dedication and dedication is commendable. It must be sooner or later and I can’t wait for the world to see the storm,” Thakur’s comment read.
Farhan’s girlfriend Shibani Dandekar is ‘proud’ of her boyfriend, who will be seen as a boxer in ‘Toofan’. He posted the video with the caption, “Storm in Times Square!! Beast Mode! @faroutakhtar Very proud.”
‘Toofan’, which also stars Paresh Rawal, Surpriya Pathak and Vijay Raaz, will premiere live on Amazon Prime Video on July 16. The film was initially scheduled to hit the silver screens on October 2, 2020; However, it got delayed due to the COVID-19 crisis.
