Some players from Australia and England, including Joe Root, were in trouble after the conclusion of the Ashes Test series Down Under on Sunday. In a bizarre incident, the likes of Nathan Lyon, Alex Carey and Travis Head were kicked out of the Hobart facility for their loud celebration. According to a report in the Telegraph, the Aussies were seen celebrating their 4-0 Ashes win in the Salamanca Market district of Hobart. Batsman Usman Khawaja shared a video on his official Instagram account in which Lyon can be seen leading the charge while interacting with fans. It ends with the off-spinner standing holding the Ashes trophy and singing “We Are the Champions”.
Khawaja captioned the video, “Gaza leading @englandsbarmyarmy with us and True Blue.”
Earlier, Australia won the fifth day-night Test by 146 runs in an impressive 4-0 Ashes series win over England on Sunday, with two days to go.
