Manushi Chhillar celebrated her 27th birthday on Wednesday. She was surprised with a special cake by the media personnel.

Model and actress Manushi Chhillar turned a year older, celebrating her 27th birthday on Wednesday, May 15. While Manushi seemingly kept the special day quite simple, spending time with her family and friends, paps didn’t forget to celebrate it with her. In a video going viral, Manushi Chhillar received a warm surprise from the media, who arrived with a birthday cake for her. The former Miss World not only joined them to cut the cake but also thanked everyone for the gesture.

The video shows that as soon as Manushi comes out of a building, the media approaches her with the cake. While one of the media personnel said that they had been waiting for four hours, the actress smiled and thanked them. She also posed with the paps for pictures.

In another video, Manushi was also seen enjoying a bite of the cake.

“Thank you so much. This was very special,” the actress said before getting into her car.

Manushi will be next seen in Tehran, opposite Bollywood heartthrob John Abraham. The film, said to be inspired by true events, is presently in production and expected to hit theatres soon. Directed by Arun Gopalan, Tehran is produced by Dinesh Vijan.

Manushi recently spoke about her upcoming film, stating that it gave her a chance to learn and grow as an actor. “It was really heart-warming to receive so much love after my first look from Tehran dropped. It’s fun to experiment with roles and I hope I get to challenge myself even more,” she added, as quoted by Tellychakkar.

However, the actress didn’t reveal much about her role or the film’s plot.
