Meanwhile, the weather forecast is not very encouraging for the series finale with rain predicted during the match. However, as the rain stays away, a high scoring affair is expected.
The contest will also give stand-in skipper Rishabh Pant a chance to return to form as he struggles with the bat which has resulted in severe criticism from the likes of Sunil Gavaskar and Wasim Jaffer.
Though Pant is not worried about his performance, he believes there is room for improvement. “As a person I can see some areas to improve. Not too worried though; looking to take the positives and improve. Let’s see what happens in Bangalore,” Pant said of Rajkot T20I Said later.
