New Delhi: The pressure of meeting targets at the workplace is on everyone, but when you have a ‘monster boss’, the work environment can be hell.
Recently a video is going viral on social media, in which an HDFC Bank Senior VP is purportedly reprimanding his junior colleagues for not meeting their monthly targets.
In a tweet shared by CA Kanan Behl, he wrote, “Sr.VP of HDFC Bank is seen shouting at his staff for not meeting targets. A friend who understands Bengali has confirmed that he is talking to his junior.” 75 insurance policies. Is that why these bank employees mis-sell us policies and investment products?”
The tweet has since received 2,563 retweets, 614 quotes, 6,716 likes and 1,005 bookmarks.

Meanwhile, according to a report in Hindustan Times, HDFC Bank has sacked the VP on Monday.
In the video, the employee is seen shouting in Bengali language. The video is said to be from Kolkata where the top employee is allegedly manhandling his colleagues during a video call during an internal meeting. In the video, the officer can be heard shouting at his colleagues in Bengali for not selling enough banking goods and insurance coverage.
The above situation dovetails with another pattern that has recently become a trend in the job market. The job market has been tough lately for both employees and businesses, due to many layoffs and a variety of market volatility factors.
